TWO BOYS are currently in deep trouble after they were arrested while attempting to sell a freshly cut human head which looked like that of a 7-year-old boy.
The two, were nabbed with the human head at Sokoban Ampeyuo near Kumasi on Wednesday.
The suspects attempted to sell the human head, which looked fresh, to a popular fortune-teller in the community, in order to get fabulously rich.
Unknown to them, the fortune-teller had reported their evil intentions to the police, who apprehended the boys, whilst trying to sell the human head.
A police source said the eldest among the two suspects is 21-years-old, adding that they are currently in police grips, assisting in investigations.
He said the human head is still with the police, who are making frantic efforts to locate the remaining body of the deceased.
The police source said the soothsayer was at his shrine on Wednesday when the two boys showed up with a fresh human head and said it was for sale.
The soothsayer feigned interest in the illegal deal and asked the boys to return with their strange item. He then quickly informed the police.
Few hours later, the two boys arrived at the shrine in possession of a human head, soaked with blood, which was concealed in a polythene bag.
Meanwhile, residents of the city, whose children are missing, have been trooping to the police station to check the severed human head.
Other reports say the police believe several people may have played a role in cutting off the head of the innocent boy so they are making efforts to arrest all of them.
