2 Moms Kill Their 4 Children

Within one week, two mothers, one in the Ashanti Region and the other in the Greater Accra Region have been arrested on charges that each of them had killed two biological children.

28-year old Abigail Agbubia in Greater Accra, is suspected to have killed her two young children aged two years and eight months respectively.

And in the Ashanti Region, another mother by name Adwoa Juliana is also under arrest over suspicion that she had also killed her two children; one being just a month old and the other, two years.

A police report from the Ashanti Region sighted by The New Publisher said the father of the kids, Yeboah Akwasua and one Kwame Akomolga, reported the deaths.

Suspect Adwoa Juliana was said to have carried out the heinous act at Ejura, in the Ashanti region, where she lives with her husband and children.

The deceased kids have been identified as Kwadwo Polika, who was said to be just one-month old. The baby was found dead in the suspect’s home.

The other dead child, was also identified as Alfred Ahahbeane, 2 years old, who was murdered and buried under a cashew tree in a farm.

The actions of the suspected killer mom have sparked shock waves in Ejura and the nearby communities, as residents are surprised about Juliana’s action.

The police, the report said, went to the scene and found the body of the one-month old child, lying in a supine position with no marks of assault on body.

After a thorough search in the community, the police also found the lifeless body of the two year-old boy buried under a Cashew tree in a farm.

Adwoa Juliana, who is the prime suspect in the gruesome murder of the two children, was quickly apprehended to assist the police in their investigations.

It is not known the motive of the suspected murderer. Some have speculated she may be suffering from a form of mental disorder.

And in Tema Manhean in the Greater Accra Region, Abigail Agbubia was arrested and detained by the Police to help unravel circumstances leading to the death of her two young children.

According to Chief Inspector Dede Dzakpasu, Tema Regional Police Acting Public Relations Officer, the Tema regional Criminal Investigation Department (CID) had information that two children had been found dead at Tema Manhean at about 1730 hours on July 30, 2020.

Chief Inspector Dzakpasu added that crime scene team officers and investigators found the motionless bodies of a boy and a girl aged two years and eight months respectively, in a wooden structure when they visited the scene.

She indicated that preliminary inspection on the bodies revealed no marks of assault but their mouths and nostrils were however found foamy.

Police, she added, retrieved a bottle containing some liquid substance which would be sent to the Police forensic laboratory for examination.

The bodies of the children, she said, were conveyed to the Police Hospital where they were confirmed dead by a medical officer and send to the hospital’s morgue for autopsy.

Chief Inspector Dzakpasu said the Tema Regional Police Command was appealing to the general public especially residents of Tema Manhean to give relevant information on the death of the children.
