Ghana’s two Para-athletes Botsyo Nkegbe and Felix Acheampong who will be representing the country at this year’s Commonwealth Games in April are calling on government to support their pre-Games preparations.
Nkegbe will partake in the para-1500 meters race while Acheampong features will be featuring in the Para-marathon.
The two believe when given the necessary financial support by the government ahead of the multi sport event their best will be exhibited in Australia.
“Para sports have never let this nation down anytime we represent the country at any Championship especially when other disciplines fail. We just hoping we have accurate preparations ahead of the games you will see what we can do in April,” the two told Starr Sports.
