2020 budget statement ’empty’ – Minority
The Minority in parliament has described the 2020 budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Akufo-Addo-led government as an ”empty one”.
Reacting to the 2020 budget presented by the Finance Minister Wednesday, Minority leader Haruna Iddrisu the budget should be the last one for the NPP government.
“One uninspiring budget deserves an exit. Ghanaians are worse off under the Akufo-Addo government than the erstwhile Mahama administration” he said.
According to the Minority, the budget, which is described as the ‘bye-bye budget, couldn’t address the suffering and misery of Ghanaians and offer remedies for the growing unemployment in the country and the escalating hopelessness of the youth.
