2020 VGMA: Kuami Eugene crowned King of Ghana music

Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene has been named as the overall Artiste of the Year at the 2020 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Kuami Eugene ward off competition from Sarkodie, KiDi, Kofi Kinaata, Diana Hamilton, Medikal and others to win the award.

Until the announcement, the late Ebony Reigns was the reigning Artiste of the Year for the past two years.

Industry players had widely predicted Kofi Kinaata and Sarkodie as possible winners of the award but Kuami Eugene pulled a big surprise.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is organised by Charterhouse.
