The introduction of 3 Music Awards last year by Sadiq Abdulai Abu and his team at the 3 Media Network saw many Industry stakeholders buying into the idea.
The maiden edition which was an alternative and a trendier music awards took place at the then newly built Fantasy Dome.
Tho it was successful, the newly awards scheme saw small hitches, the problems didn’t discount the Organizers in remaining steadfast and prepare for subsequent editions.
In a Chat with The Publisher, Mr Sadiq disclosed that lessons from the first edition has been learnt and that, this year’s edition and subsequent ones would be an extraordinaire.
The 2nd annual 3Music Awards is scheduled to come off tomorrow (Saturday, 30th March, 2019) in a spectacular fashion with over 15 top-of-the-line performances expected to go down as organizers have announced the best movers and shakers of the music industry as headline acts for this year’s ceremony.
Shatta Wale will take a gallant walk across the stage as stunning visual effects and eye-catching projections display behind him.
This is the 2019 3Music Awards grand finale – and this will be Shatta Wale opening his first major concert – and throwing down a gauntlet to every other artist on the bill.
On the night, over one-hundred nominees will be seated in anticipation of picking up any of twenty six silver-plated 3Music Awards ’19 plaques presented by A-list showbiz celebrities.
According to Sadiq, the grand awards event will precede a pre-event gala where fans, music icons and showbiz celebrities will gather for an intimate cocktail ceremony with live interviews and fashion display.
All the glitz and glam experience of 3Music Awards ’19 will be live at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair – Accra tomorrow.
The set designs of the Awards Show was leaked to the public domain days ago and it looked very beautiful out of the many awards the Ghana Entertainment Industry has witnessed over the years.
Standing out as one of the best yet seen in the history of awards schemes in the country, one is not too surprised as the first edition of the awards scheme also had a brilliant set.
Amazing Performers scheduled to perform at the Awards Show includes Grammy Award nominee Rocky Dawuni, Samini, Medikal, Joey B, Joe Mettle, Freda Rhymz, Eddie Khae, Tulenkey, Victor A.D, Wendy Shay, Dope Nation and many others.
Organised by 3 Media Network, Sadiq said, this year’s awards ceremony is expected to attract Ghana’s musicians, stakeholders in the music and movie industries and a cross-section of the general public.
The awards ceremony is being organised to reward Ghanaian musicians, songwriters and producers for their contribution to the growth of the industry.
It also seeks to encourage a large number of musicians to come out with more quality musical works to educate and entertain music fans.
