4×4 Is Still Together – Captain Planet Confirms

Renowned hiplife artiste and leader of music group 4×4, Dodzi Sylvanus, popularly known in showbiz as Captain Planet has debunked rumors claiming the group (4×4) is no more.

Speaking on the Drive Time show on the segment “Behind the Fame” with host Lexis Bill, the rapper confirmed that he (Captain Planet) and group member Coded decided to embark on a solo project for now.

“We’ve been together as a group for fourteen years, so is like we trying to re-invent ourselves and do something different, like excuse me to say, R2Bees are a group, but they are still doing solo project.

“Mugeez comes out with a song and Paedae as well, but all in the name of the group” He said

He believes going solo is the best thing for the group.

When asked the last time he spoke to Coded, he revealed that the last time he spoke to his member was in August last year.

“I am not responsible for anybody’s life, I am responsible for the group, but I am not responsible for any individual’s life” He explained.

The ‘Obi agyi obi girl’ hit maker mentioned that he is okay as a solo artiste, stressed that the group 4×4 is always intact.

Ghana had great music groups, however, most of these groups have split in one way or another.

Music groups such as Praye, Wutah, amongst others are known to have split and reconciled after several calls form their fans.

The group 4×4 is known for songs like ‘Waist and Power’, ‘Baby Dance which features Davido’ and other great hits.
