According to a police source, the crash occurred around 1am on Friday and it involved a Toyota Vitz vehicle Man Diesel truck and a Daf truck.
The police said the Daf truck and the Toyota Vitz vehicle were from the Konongo direction and they were heading towards the Kumasi area.

Suddenly, the driver behind the wheels of the Toyota Vitz vehicle attempted to overtake the Daf truck, which is certainly a long vehicle.
In the course of the overtaking, driver of the Toyota Vitz realized the Man Diesel truck was closing in so to avert a head on collision, he tried to cut in front of the ongoing Daf truck.
