Abeiku, UTV has deceived the Masses – Jocelyn Dumas reveals

Ghanaian television host and actress Jocelyn Dumas has expressed her disappointment in popular radio personality Abeiku Aggrey Santana and ‘his team’ for editing an interview she recently granted on his Atuu TV show in what she thinks is a deliberate attempt to tarnish her image.

The award winning actress also registered her disappointment in United Television (UTV), the channel on which the program is aired, accusing the Despite brand of editing her interview to indicate something she ‘definitely didn’t say’.

Jocelyn Dumas has been in the news past hours to have for the first time disclosed having an amorous relationship with actor/politician John Dumelo during an interview with Abeiku Santana on the Atuu TV Show that airs on UTV.

The edited video which was to advertise for the show to be aired Saturday, were matched to mean Jocelyn had dated Mr Dumelo for two years; something she never said in the interview.

To Jocelyn, it was a total disappointment and could not understand why that editing which has caused a bad reportage to the detriment of her good image.

Taking to Facebook to register her displeasure, Jocelyn said Abeiku Santana is a media personality and he ‘knows how it feels to be misrepresented falsely, of something you haven’t said’, indicating she is ‘particularly surprised at Abeiku’ because he should have known better.

She said whatever ‘they’ are trying to achieve will not work since according to her, she ‘never said those things’.

Dumas however indicated she lately does not ‘grant interviews anymore because nobody cares about the truth, saying ‘stagnation’ in the media is due to ‘sensationalism’ and ‘bad journalism’.
