Word Palace Bible School has ordained the Chief Executive of Absolute Brand Media, Mr. Richmond De-Graft Johnson as a Reverend Minister.
Rev. De-Graft Johnson was among some seven Theology students who were duly consecrated and ordained at a ceremony at the Word Palace International Church (WPI) in Accra, after undertaking intensive training in Christian Theology.
Rev. De-Graft Johnson, also the host of The De-Graft Johnson Show on Accra based Tumpaani TV takes the new office after fourteen years of media work.
Sermon
In a sermon on the theme: “Pushing The Vision From Silence”, the Founder of WPI Apostle Chief Kusi Addai said there are principles to be followed in one’s quest to become a man of God.
He stated that there are those God has called and those He has chosen for His work insisting that those about to be ordained have been set apart.
Apostle Addai, reminded the pastors not to forget that they are humans with weaknesses and that God does not call perfect people into his vineyard.
“God doesn’t call the perfect to glorify his name, today God will make them new people” he noted.
The WPI founder is sure that a man of God is one chosen by God to do His work stressing that those chosen by God are special people.
For his part, Prophet Daniel Amankwah of Power Breakers International Ministry also in Accra argued that the journey the pastors has decided to embark upon is a dangerous one.
He said it is about time true men of God rise to prove to the world that there are still good men of God in the country.
Prophet Amankwah intimated that the new pastors require, wisdom, self-discipline and understanding to excel in their endeavors.
“If you have wisdom, the sky would be your limit… “the Power Breakers minister said.
Self- Discipline
With particular reference to the story of Joseph and Potiphar’s wife in Genesis 39 the man of God charged the pastors to flee from the lust of the eye and be guided by the teachings of the Bible.
He explained that “A good Christian is seen when he or she is alone”.
Prophet Amankwah cautioned the pastors not to be led by the love for money but rather dedicate their time to work of God.
“Character runs a ministry not money, all that glitters is not gold, our mind refuses to work when we see money… “the man of God said.
He continued: “some Ministries have collapsed because of wrong choices, be careful of the choices u make… “adding “make sure you don’t sin against God… ”
Prophet Amankwah said “you will be enticed with many things but don’t fall for anything. Sampson upon all his strength was brought down by a single woman. ”
He said “don’t be scared by those who will scare you alone this journey, brace yourselves up for hard times”
