Adams Wants Kotoko Return
EX-KOTOKO Defender, Ahmed Adams, is hankering to return to the club, reports reaching THE PUBLISHER SPORTS, indicates.
This follows the hard-working defender’s inability to secure a contract in Switzerland.
Adams is reported to have returned to Ghana, with the sole aim of rejoining the Porcupine Warriors once again.
Reports, however, indicate that the present Kotoko management is not so keen to offer Adams a deal, who was once a Kotoko icon.
According to reports, Kotoko are not happy about the way Adams ditched them and travel abroad for a club.
They said Kotoko regarded Adams as an integral member of their team so they did not want to let him go at the time he left.
The sources said Kotoko did everything possible to halt Adams’ move but the dependable stopper stood his grounds and left.
Meanwhile, other sources revealed Adams is planning to appeal to some Imams in Kumasi to apologize to Kotoko on his behalf.
Adams was a pivotal member of the Kotoko squad last season but he left for an abortive greener pasture abroad despite Kotoko’s appeal for him not to leave.
