Staff member of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) have embarked on a six-kilometerHealth Walk distributing fliers about the Bank’s products and services to promote the business of the Bank to people who exercise on the Ayi-Mensah to Peduase road.
The Walk dubbed “Business Health Walk” was held on Saturday with music accompanying the hundreds of staff who joyfully distributed fliers about the E-business, Personal, Agricultural and Small Medium Enterprises Products (SME) of the Bank to road users and also people who had come to exercise.
With support from Kasapreko Company Limited who provided the Bank with Awake Natural Water and their flavoured water the staff climaxed the six kilometer walk with an aerobic session after distributing about 2000 fliers.
In a brief remark the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Alhassan Yakubu-Tali said the aim of the walk was to further deepen the Banks relationship with both new and existing customers, create top of the mind awareness about the ADB Brand and also afford staff to exercise.
“The Ayi-Mensah-Peduase walk has become a regular route for many Ghanaians who wish to keep fit, we therefore found it necessary to take advantage of the high patronage and inform the general public about our products and services,” he said.
He said that management placed premium on the health of staff and also the promotion of the Bank’s business hence the need to embark on the walk and also distribute the fliers to attract more customers.
“At ADB, we believe in teamwork as that remains one of our core values, thus this walk will not only create a synergy amongst staff the v but will also teach us that by binding together as a single force we will climb to the pinnacle of the Banking industry in Ghana,” Mr. Yakubu-Tali added.
The General Manager in charge of Business at ADB, Mr. Edward Ian-Armah Mensah said the exercise was a success since they were able to interact with many people.
He disclosed that the bank had developed products and services tailored to suit the dynamic trends of the Banking industry and engaging in activities such as this wouldfurther promote visibility and top of the mind awareness about the ADB Brand.
