ADB MD Donates Dual Desks to Abatech
Dr. John Kofi Mensah, Managing Director of the Agricultural Development Bank, has donated one hundred pieces of dual-desks to the Abaasa Technical Institute in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District in the Central Region.
The gesture is to enhance learning and learning in the school.
Dr. John Kofi Mensah has also promised to assist the school which lacks classrooms to accommodate all seven hundred and one student population.
Speaking at a ceremony attended by the Omanhene of Enyaa Abaasa, Osagyefo Kwamena Akonu X, Dr. Kofi Mensah said every Ghanaian child deserve a chance to go to school.
He praised President Akufo-Addo’s government for the introduction of Free Senior High School (SHS) education in the country.
Dr. John Kofi Mensah expressed hope the dual-desks, which will afford two hundred students to sit in comfort to write, will create a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.
Dr. Kofi Mensah also entreated the students to be humble and God fearing in the pursuit of their academic development.
Omanhene of Enyaa Abaasa traditional area, Osagyefo Kwamena Akonu X commended Dr. Kofi Mensah, a native of the area, and called on others to follow his desire to support education of children in the area.
