Aduana FC have ended their association with head coach Yaw Acheampong after a disappointing start to the Ghana Premier League season.
This decision follows a 2-0 home defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, which left the team 13th on the league table with just 12 points from 12 matches.
The club’s struggles this season include only two wins, alongside six draws and four losses, highlighting their inability to find consistency. As Aduana FC navigates this challenging period, assistant coach Paul Tandoh has been appointed interim head coach while the search for a permanent replacement is underway.
Acheampong, who helped Aduana secure fifth-place finish in the previous season, leaves the club with hopes that a change in leadership will help the team improve.
