Aduana Stars Name Final 18-Man Squad for CAF Champions League Game
Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions League campaigners, Aduana Stars has named an 18-man squad to travel to Egypt to face Libyan side Al-Tahaddi.
The match would be the Aduana’s first eliminator in this year’s Champions League, with the game being played in Egypt because of the political instability in Libya.
The list includes two goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders and three strikers.
The team is expected to leave Ghana on Thursday with Egypt Air with a 30-man contingent, which includes the 18 players, technical team, management team and a journalist.
Here is the full list of 18 players; goalkeepers – Joseph Addo, Tijani Ahmed, defenders – Emmanuel Akuoko, Stephen Anokye Badu, Caleb Amankwaa, Paul Aidoo, Farouk Adams, Abdul Rashid and Justice Anane, midfielders – Elvis Opoku, Zakaria Mumuni, Sam Adams, Noah Martey, Gockel Ahortor and Emmanuel Boateng.
The forwards are; Bright Adjei, Derrick Sasraku and Nathaniel Asamoah.
