Afenyo-Markin Donates 300 Desks To WINNESEC

Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency in the Central Region, Alex Afenyo-Markin, has donated 300 pieces of wooden desks to the Winniba Senior High School in his constituency to facilitate teaching and learning.

School authorities and students alike were overwhelmed with excitement during the donation last Friday as the new desks would bring a huge relief to the challenges of scarce furniture in the school.

“Considering the overwhelming intake for first year students, the school appealed for support and by the grace of God I was able to respond. God bless Nana Akufo-Addo and his government for the courage to implement the free SHS.

“The free SHS policy has been very well patronized and we all have to contribute in our small ways to support its growing success. We ought to see education as a top priority”, Afenyo-Markin stated.

The school’s management expressed gratitude to the MP for the succor.
