Renowned for her exceptional dancing skills, Afronitaa also possesses a hidden talent for singing.
The Ghanaian dancer disclosed on TV3’s The Afternoon Show that she collaborated with the popular music group FBS to record a song, scheduled for release.
Recorded in October 2023, the track remains unreleased. Initially unsure about her ability to deliver vocally, Afronitaa was hesitant but found encouragement from FBS to pursue the recording.
She emphasised that the group played a major role by fine tuning her output whish she said “came out nice.”
“It’s not out yet. I just recorded a song with FBS in October last year. It should be out very soon. Trying to convince me was very difficult, they really tried because we kept having meetings upon meetings and I’m like no I am not a musician and I can’t do this.
“They were like let’s just go to the studio and try and do something. I put something together, they looked at it and asked me to do it this way and I went to sing….it came out nice,” she said on April, 11th 2024.
Afronitaa is set to inaugurate her dance academy for children, Afrostar Kids Academy, on Sunday, April 14th, at Fit Trip in Dzorwulu, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The academy caters to children aged 3 to 12 years old. Afronitaa encourages all parents interested in enrolling their children to take advantage of this opportunity.
