Ahafo NPP chairman killed in gory accident; others in critical condition

The Kenyasi District Police Commander, DSP Taddy Damteh Brown has confirmed the death of Ahafo regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman in a motor accident.

Mr. Francis Opoku Sarfo Alias Chairman Jerry according to sources passed away together with one other person.

Other five occupants of the vehicle including his wife and the driver are said to be in a critical condition and have been rushed to the Sunyani Government Hospital.

The accident happened at about 5:45pm at Banahene on Acheasua to Hwidiem road on Saturday when they were on their way back to Kenyasi from a funeral.

Francis Sarfo Poku ,known in private life as “Chairman Jerry” was returning from a party duty.
