Akpaloo chases appointment in NPP Gov’t
IT SEEMS the Presidential Candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, is looking for a job in government.
The controversial politician has made it openly clear that he would not hesitate to take an appointment from President Nana Akufo-Addo.
“I will accept an appointment to work in President Nana Akufo-Addo’s next government, which starts work on January 7, 2021.
“It has been my long and cherished dream to serve my motherland Ghana and if the president gives me that chance, I will grab it”.
Interestingly, Kofi Akpaloo made the statement on radio few days after the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were declared winners in the polls.
It would also be recalled that Kofi Akpaloo was the first of the defeated presidential aspirants to concede and congratulate President Akufo-Addo.
The LPG flagbearer, who is very outspoken, strangely, has been a spot soft for the NPP government as he hardly attacks the government in public.
During the heat of the 2020 electioneering campaign, he once said the race to the presidency was a two-horse race between the NPP and his LPG.
