KOFI AKPALOO, Founder of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has described the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, introduced by the government, as the best thing ever to have happened to Ghana.
He has therefore lauded President Nana Akufo-Addo and the Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, for the successful implementation of the policy so far.
According to him, the human resource of any society is the cornerstone of that society or country, adding that the two leading personalities should be applauded for serving Ghana faithfully.
“Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, aka Napo, have served their country faithfully by coming out with the free SHS programme to educate the youth.
“They have the interest of Ghana at heart and that is why they have introduced the free SHS policy to train the youth, who are the future leaders of this great country”.
Speaking in a radio interview, Akpaloo said the benefits of the programme would remain for generations upon generations.
“The natural resources, such as gold, manganese, oil and the rest, will dry up one day and that will bring endless troubles for the state. But the benefits of the free SHS policy will only come to an end when the world itself ends”, Kofi Akpaloo, the outspoken politician, stressed.
