Akrobeto Ready To Die

Celebrated Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadu known in showbiz as ‘Akrobeto’, presenter of ‘The Real News’ on UTV has called the bluff of prophets and seers that have predicted his death and made it categorical he is ready to die anytime and anywhere his maker deems fit.

“Everyone would die one day. Even the prophet speaking would die one day so if a prophet says I, Akrobeto, would die, why should I be afraid and run to go and see him. Aaaapuuuu. Even if the prophet prays so that I don’t die now, I would certainly die one day, so I am no more afraid of death.

“The only thing I want to do is to be at peace with my God and with my fellow human being, that is what matters to me and not the fear of death. This is not the first time I have heard a prophet saying I would die, I am not afraid of death any more”, an angry sounding Akrobeto yelled on Peace 104.3 FM yesterday during an interview with Kwesi Aboagye on ‘Entertainment Review’.

Akrobeto said there was a time a prophet predicted his death to a friend. “When the person told me his pastor has said, I Akrobeto would die, I told him to go and tell the pastor to call me himself and tell me that nonsense. I did not mind them, I did not do anything about it, I did not believe it and I did not die.

“I believe in God and I also know there are genuine prophets but why don’t we hear them saying that this celebrity would become wealthy, this celebrity would make money, this star would have a successful career but everyday all we hear from them is that this celebrity would die, that star would get an accident and something bad would happen to this actor or musician.

“I have stopped worrying myself over such nonsense. In fact, such things have never bothered me because I am a man and at the end of the day, I would surely die just like anyone human being on earth. Why should I be afraid of death when I cannot avoid it?”, Akrobeto argued.
