Akunnor Salutes League Champions
HEAD COACH of Ashantigold FC, C.K. Akunnor, has heaped tons of praises on newly-crowned Ghana League Champions, Aduana Stars.
He observed that even though the league was very tough, Aduana Stars worked tirelessly from the start to end so they (Aduana) deserve the title.
According to him, looking at the consistency and seriousness displayed by the Dormaa-based club, he is not surprised they won the league.
Akunnor, who is a former Black Stars Skipper, stated that winning the Ghana league is not a child’s play so the new champions deserve applause.
“I salute Aduana Stars for working extremely hard to win the league. They have fought a good fight and they deserve to be applauded.
“Aduana Stars, during the season, displayed consistency and hard work and their efforts have been rewarded with the league title”, he said.
Based in the Brong Ahafo region, Aduana Stars is owned by the Paramount Chief of Dormaa, Oseadeeyu Agyeman Badu.
With two Ghana league titles to their credit, the club is rapidly becoming a powerhouse in Ghana football.
