Ghana’s Albert Adomah was named in the SkyBet Championship Team of the Season on Wednesday after an good season with Aston Villa.
Various managers in the English Football League (which has the Championship and the various other lower leagues) made their picks for the team of the season and they saw it fit to add the Ghanaian winger.
Adomah has played 33 times for Villa this season in the Championship scoring 13 times so far and getting 10 assists.
He is joined in the team by John Ruddy, Ryan Fredericks, Conor Coady, John Terry, Ryan Sessegnon, Tom Cairney Rúben Neves, James Maddison, Bobby Reid and Matěj Vydra.
The Championship season has 13 more rounds until completion and Adomah and Aston Villa are chasing one of the two automatic promotion spots back to the Premier League.
If that fails, they will have to settle for one of the four play-off places.
