Alhaji Grunsah Backs Nyantakyi’s Exit
Bankroller of King Faisal, Alhaji Abdul Karim Grunsah, has supported President Kwasi Nyantakyi’s decision not contest again after 2019.
He applauded the GFA boss for personally announcing that he would leave office when his current tenure ends in 2019.
“Lawyer Kwasi Nantakyi has made a wise decision to leave office in 2019 after a long and successful reign for Ghana soccer.
“His reign has helped to take Ghana football to the next level and I back his decision to leave in 2019″, the football administrator, noted.
Alhaji Grunsah stated that Kwasi Nyantakyi has done well so far but as a man there is always a time to exit the scene for someone to take over.
“Indeed, this GFA boss has done extremely well but as a man he cannot do it all so I think the time for his exit, which is 2019, is appropriate”.
Alhaji Grunsah said Kwesi Nantakyi is now a household name in African football “so he can even become CAF or FIFA boss in the near future”.
He therefore urged Kwasi Nantakyi to focus more on leading African soccer now “and I know he can easily win the CAF seat”.
Grunsah said in the place of Kwasi Nantakyi, a person who has colts football at heart should be given the mandate as the next GFA boss.
