Anas Aremeyaw Anas Mourns Late Amissah-Arthur

 

Celebrated Investigative Journalist has added his voice to the morning of the late Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.

He took to his Twitter Account to celebrate the late statesman. Anas post on Twitter read monitored by this portal reads:

“Life changes in the instant. The ordinary instant.” Rest in Power, #Veep #AmissahArthur.”

He add his voice to the millions of people mourning late Amissah-Arthur but asked the dearly departed soul of the former veep to rest in ‘Peace’. Many tributes have been pouring from all over the country from public figures and social media users following reports of the former statesman’s death.

His former boss, John Dramani Mahama who expressed shock at the sudden demise of his 67-year-old former vice president, revealed that they met barely a week ago.

Before becoming vice president in August 2012, Mr. Amissah-Arthur was Governor of the Bank of Ghana from 2009 to 2012. From 1983 to 1986, he served as a special assistant to the Secretary of Finance and Economic Planning, Kwesi Botchwey under the Provisional National Defense Council (PNDC) government.
