Anas Receives $11,000 as Award in India
Investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has won an $11,000 Journalism Excellence Award at a gala event held on 17 September 2018, at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, India.
His firm, Tiger Eye’s Asia representative, Sameer Tembe picked up the award on his behalf.
The award follows a story published in the Crusading Guide newspaper, titled: ‘Anas Floors Dery’, which follows the 2016 judicial expose’ that highlighted corruption in Ghana’s judiciary.
The ‘KC Kulish International Award for Excellence in Journalism’ was instituted in 2007 to promote the best works of journalist teams. It is also to recognise journalists around the world who fight for human rights and freedom through journalistic practice.
It is the world’s largest journalism award in terms of prize money.
