Ligue 1 side Le Havre has officially announced the return of Ghanaian star Andre Ayew on a one-year deal.
The 34-year-old forward initially joined the club in November 2023 and made a significant impact, scoring six goals in 20 appearances before his contract expired at the end of the last season.
Le Havre, currently focused on retaining their top-flight status, views Ayew’s re-signing as a crucial addition to their squad. His wealth of experience and leadership qualities will be vital as the club navigates the challenges of their Ligue 1 campaign.
Having previously played in the Premier League for clubs such as Swansea City, West Ham United, and Nottingham Forest, Ayew is expected to bolster Le Havre’s performance on the field.
Recently, he has been absent from the Ghana national team under coach Otto Addo, but he is determined to prove himself again at the club level.
While Ayew’s primary goal remains helping Le Havre secure their position in Ligue 1, the veteran attacker is also eager to regain his place in the Black Stars squad, seeking to make a significant impact both domestically and internationally.
