Ange Postecoglou gets Spurs job

Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur on a four-year contract.

He departs from Celtic after achieving back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles during his two seasons in charge.

Postecoglou becomes the fourth permanent manager for Spurs since Mauricio Pochettino led the team to the Champions League final in the 2018-19 season as he follows in the footsteps of José Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo, and Antonio Conte.

Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, Daniel Levy expressed his enthusiasm about Postecoglou’s arrival, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Ange to our club. His positive mindset and dynamic, attacking style of play align with our vision. He has a remarkable track record in player development and a deep understanding of the academy’s significance—qualities that are highly valued by our club.”

Following Conte’s departure in March, Spurs have been on the hunt for a new manager, with Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason serving as interim managers.
