Angel Obinim: I lied I can turn into snakes & lions

Bishop Daniel Obi, Leader of International Godway’s Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has confessed that all the claims he made to his church members that he has supernatural powers to transform himself into snakes, lions and other animals to bite his enemies at night were a bunch of nonsensical lies.

He has asked for forgiveness and described the lies as a period of mistakes and immaturity in his ministry.

Obinim indicated that he is a repented soul now and advises whoever watches him to keep good company.

“I said I could transform into any animal and do what I wanted to people. Those were mistakes. I have the calling of the lord and through my prayers, I can help you but I don’t have the power to transform into an animal and all other things that I spoke about. I’m advising you that you should leave any form of relationship that will not be beneficial to you this year. I’ve been given a second chance and I’ve taken it so do take yours,”  Bishop said in a recorded video now gone viral.

Many have however described his u-turn confessions as another episode of public relation and marketing gimmicks meant to woo more unsuspecting persons to his one-man-church.

The  sensational televangelist, Obinon, in time past had been consistent  in his wild claims that  God one comes closer to him when it comes to works in the spiritual realm making him the ‘spiritual President of the world’.

Bishop Obinim who claimed God had elevated him to the status of an Angel,  bragged of how he is able to do several things in the spirit which God has blessed him with making him the Spiritual President ahead of other Men of God.

“When it comes to money others are richer than me, when it comes to houses and cars others have better and luxurious cars than me, when it comes to English others speak better and are more learned than I am but when it comes to the work of the Spirit, I am the president of the whole world”, he revealed.

According to him, he is the only person the world over who can go into the spirit and change into a woman, child and other creatures to execute the directive of God.

“I can change into an animal in the spirit or change into a different person. I do this to give money, heal the sick, bless people with marriage, give those seeking the fruit of the womb and those seeking to travel abroad”, he stressed.

According to him, during a visit to Heaven while being celebrated by other Angels, the devil showed up with a grim face because Lucifer is still at a loss as to why he should be accorded him such courtesies.

In the said controversial video believed to have been taken at the Accra Branch of his church, the televangelist was heard saying:” “I was with other angels who were dancing and singing; Jesus Christ’s beloved son is Obinim. They had wings and I also had wings and we were just happy singing. Then I noticed a dark figure looking at me and I realized it was the devil. He told me how jealous he was that I have been made an angel”.

But in a sudden U-turn to these claims years after in yet another video, the remorseful Obinim who has had a brawl with the law severally, admitted all these claims were lies.
