A popular serial caller from the folds of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) serial caller, Frank Kwaku Appiah, aka Appiah Stadium, known for his vitriolic and foul language, has said he has turned a new leaf and promised stop his unprovoked and unrestrained insults, especially on President Akufo-Addo.
According to him, he has decided to embark on clean politics, devoid of insults this new year because of a recent near-violent attack on his life.
Appiah Stadium revealed that a top pastor in Kumasi, Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng, who is his spiritual father, has admonished him to stop insulting the elderly.
The NDC serial caller said he would continue to campaign against President Akufo-Addo, but in a decent manner.
“I have changed my style of politics this New Year, basically because of some thugs nearly killed and burnt my house in Kumasi recently.
“Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng, a respected man of God, who is my spiritual father, has also advised me not to rain insults on the President again. I will continue to campaign so that President Akufo-Addo is ousted from political office by Mr. John Mahama in 2020 but I will not insult him”, he said.
Appiah Stadium, it would be recalled, was nearly burnt with his wife and two children in their house recently by some unknown persons.
The purpose of the attack is not known but pundits say it could be for reasons other than his offensive politics which he extends to even members of the NDC who are not in bed with John Mahama.
