Appoint NYANTAKYI AS GFA Consultant – Ashantigold Prez.

The President of Ashantigold FC, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, has proposed that Lawyer Kwasi Nyantakyi be appointed as a consultant for the yet-to-be-formed GFA.

He argued that, Mr. Nyantakyi had gained a lot of experience and expertise in football, especially on the Africa continent, having gone through the mill to the position of vice president of CAF.

Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, who is popularly known as ‘Champion’, stated that Ghana football would be the eventual loser if Lawyer Nyantakyi’s experience and knowledge are made to go waste.

“The government should appoint Lawyer Kwasi Nyantakyi as a consultant for the yet-to-be-formed GFA so that his unique experience, gained over so many years, would not go waste”, he stated.

According to the Ashantigold FC President, if Lawyer Nyantakyi is allowed to leave the football scene for good, the country would suffer “so we should appoint him as a consultant to the GFA”.

He has therefore suggested that government should consider his suggestion and appoint Kwasi Nyantakyi as a consultant to the GFA so that the country could tap his rich experience.

Lawyer Nyantakyi was sacked as the GFA president some months ago after he was alleged of taking a bribe in an investigative work done by ace investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
