AN APPRENTICE mechanic at Kronom Afrancho in the Suame Constituency, in Kumasi, has been killed through stabbing.
Ibrahim Yakubu, believed to be about 27 years old, was reportedly, stabbed in both ribs, resulting in his unfortunate demise.
The sad incident happened on Friday, March 2, this year, a police source, has told THE PUBLISHER.
The suspected killers are still at large.
According to the source, nobody saw the killers of Yakubu, who reportedly, vanished into thin air after they had committed the gruesome crime.
The police source could not also explain why the supposed killers decided to take away Yakubu’s life in the horrible manner.
He disclosed that the police have started investigations into the dicey matter to help identify and arrest the people, who took away Yakubu’s life.
The source also said Yakubu’s body had since been dumped at the morgue for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Delving deep into the case, he said one Alhassan Ishaq reported to the police that Yakubu, his mechanic apprentice, had been stabbed with unknown object.
The complainant said they only saw Yakubu lying in a pool of blood and feeling very weak so they rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, Yakubu was declared dead on arrival at the hospital and so he Alhassan decided to report the case to the police to help arrest the killers.
