Unai Emery, Arsenal boss has reportedly decided that he is willing to sell Henrikh Mkhitaryan during the summer transfer window.
Mkhitaryan has enjoyed a solid campaign for the Gunners, with six goals and six assists coming from 24 outings in the Premier League and Europa League.
However, according to The Mirror, Emery is prepared to part ways with Mkhitaryan in order to lower Arsenal’s wage bill.
The report claims that the manager of the North London outfit is keen to allocate funds elsewhere, meaning that the Armenian playmaker could be allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium.
Mesut Ozil also remains available for transfer due to his £350,000-per-week wages, although Arsenal may struggle to find a club who are interested in meeting the demands of the German.
Emery will allegedly have transfer funds of £45m and a restricted wage budget if Arsenal fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
