The Head of Zylfon Arts Club and legendary record producer, Willi Roi has passed away.
Report has it that the singer and music producer died in his apartment in Accra on Sunday, February 10, 2019.
According to a source close to the family, Willi Roi was found dead with blood oozing out of his mouth.
We are told that security officers broke into his room and found his lifeless body after he failed to step out the whole day.
The cause of his death is unknown but his body according to reports has been deposited at the morgue of the Police Hospital in Accra.
Willi Roi was a showbiz critic and Zylfon FM panellist who was banned from participating in the station’s “Showbiz Agenda” show following an outburst. He was later reinstated.
With over 40 years of experience in the show business industry, Willi Roi has worked with African music giants and legends including Fela, Sunny Ade, Sunny Okussuns, Daddy Lumba among others.
He writes and sings as well, and has recently groomed talents on the Zylofon Arts Club.
