Asamoah Gyan has addressed allegations regarding his decision to venture into politics with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The former Black Stars player has been named as the chairman of the Youth and Sports sub-committee for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s manifesto committee in preparation for the 2024 General Elections.
Reflecting on his career’s ups and downs, Gyan expressed his belief in his capability to contribute significantly to the sports sector. He stressed the importance of passing on knowledge and experience to the younger generation, highlighting the need for change and progress.
