Asamoah Gyan to unveil astroturf for Accra Academy on July 18

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan will on 18 July unveil the US$ 200,000 astroturf constructed for his alma mater Accra Academy Senior High School.

The project which is aimed at boosting sports in one of Ghana’s oldest and popular schools was started in March 2016.

It includes a playing pitch with a tartan track and dressing rooms and floodlights.

Gyan has fulfilled the promise he made to the school’s authorities two years ago
