Asenso-Boakye Clocks 40 – Shows Love To Hospital
DEPUTY CHIEF of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has marked his 40th birthday with a kind donation to the Suntreso Government Hospital in Kumasi.
He presented medical equipment, which are very necessary in emergency cases, to the health facility on Saturday afternoon.
The items include an Autoclave, Wheelchairs, Sanitary Pads and other important medical equipment to boost healthcare delivery.
Asenso-Boakye, who looked very elated, said he decided to provide the medical supplies for the hospital on his birthday, rather than organize a birthday party for his friends, saying “it is more blessed to give than to receive”.
The Deputy Chief of Staff noted that government cannot support the medical institutions in the country alone so he urged the general public to support.
He also urged managers of public hospitals to be proactive by working on their own to win public support to improve their operations.
The day’s activities was climaxed with the cutting of a birthday cake, amid chants of “Happy Birthday to you, Asenso” and some melodious gospel music to match.
The solemn ceremony was graced by top government officials and New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives at the Bantama Constituency.
They include Mr. Alfred Obeng, CEO of BOST, Hon. OseiAssibeyAntwi, KMA Boss, Samuel Abu Jinapor, a Deputy Chief of Staff, Edmund Kyei, Farouk Mahama, son of ex-vice president AliuMahama, Michael Barfi, CEO Free Zones Board and many others.
