Ashanti NDC Mobilizing Fund for Mahama

A NUMBER of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters in Kumasi have expressed their desire to support ex-President Mahama’s presidential ambition with money.

A top member of the party in Kumasi, Francis Dodovi, who confirmed the report to THE PUBLISHER during an interview, noted that many party members love Mr. Mahama so much.

According to him, the open support that the ex-president has been enjoying in the city lately is a clear indication that the NDC would return to power in 2020.

Dodovi, who is the Ashanti Regional Coordinator for Fund Raising for Mahama, noted that party members in Kumasi, willing to support Mr. Mahama’s bid with cash are free do so.

“Following the numerous calls that we have received from the party members about their readiness to donate cash to support Mr. Mahama, we have decided to make it possible for them to donate.

“We are therefore creating a special desk at the party’s Ashanti Regional office, where donations to support Mr. Mahama’s ambition to lead the NDC would be received daily”.

Dodovi explained that the monies that would be received would be forwarded to Accra to enable Mahama to pay the GH¢400,000 filing fee.

Several NDC supporters in the other parts of the country have also been donating cash to support Mr. Mahama’s desire to lead the NDC as flagbearer in 2020.
