Ashh FM Journalist Eyes Akoto Osei’s Seat
LORD INUSAH, a broadcast journalist with Kumasi-based Ashh 101.1FM, is in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) race for the Tafo/Pankrono parliamentary seat.
According to him, he has faithfully served the NPP, which he described as his mother party, for so many years at the grassroot level in the Tafo/Pankrono Constituency.
Lord Inusah stated that now is the time for him to take his service for the party to a step higher, hence his decision to join the Tafo/Pankrono NPP race this year.
There seems to be a scramble for the Tafo/Pankrono NPP parliamentary seat following the decision of Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, the incumbent Member of Parliament, not to seek re-election.
So far, about five known NPP members in the Tafo/Pankrono Constituency, including Lord Inusah, have announced their plans to contest for the vacant seat.
Speaking with Fox fm, Lord Inusah, who is also the Operations Manager for State Transport Company (STC) in the Ashanti Region, stated “I am the right person to succeed the legendary Dr. Akoto Osei”.
According to him, he has risked his life for so many years to ensure the forward march movement of the NPP and now is the time for him to move to Parliament and serve.
“I picked my forms on Thursday and after staying in the constituency for 18 years now, I am confident to win the race and retain the seat for the NPP”, he said confidently.
