Ashis Turns New Road Manager For Kumi Guitar

Highlife act, Kumi Guitar, has experienced some lease of life since being signed to Zylofon Music, but critics and fans  maintain that, he’s still perched at the bottom of the log of all the other artists signed to the label, in terms of popularity and relevance – www.entertainmentgh.com has noticed, and the top guns’ at Zylofon have noticed too!

In a bid to alter that situation and project Kumi as one of the most-sought-after artists on the Zylofon Music roster, the Creative Arts Company have contracted the services of one of the experienced hands in the business – Nana Poku Ashis.

As announced this morning on Zylofon FM by the Communication Head of Zylofon Media, Sammy Atoubi Baah, and monitored by www.entertainmentgh.com, Ashis assumes the role of Road Manager for Kumi Guitar.

Ashis comes with some high-level expertise, having worked with the likes of Kwabena Kwabena, Nacee, Ofori Amponsah and many others.

As Road Manager, Ashis is expected to handle the performances and band structure for the artist, ensuring that all the details relating to shows are organized and on schedule.

He will also take care of personal issues such as special dietary requirements or preferences of the artist and his band once they arrive at their destination, commonly called ‘rider requirements’. Collecting payments due to the artist, making vendor payments and distributing a daily allowance for expenses to the band are also part of the job will be part of his job.
