Awuku Rates Nana High
PRESIDENT NANA Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been hailed for properly managing the affairs of the country during his first year in political office.
Sammi Awuku, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Youth Organizer, who gave the thumbs up to the president during a chat with UTV’s Kwabena Antwi Boasiako, said Ghana’s first gentleman deserves every commendation for delivering most of his campaign promises within the first 12 months of his 4-year term.
“This is a president, who has the desire and passion to fix all the country’s problems in order to stop abject poverty and replace it with prosperity.
“I knew that President Akufo-Addo would perform but I must confess that he has delivered more than I expected him to do within his first year in office”, he said.
He mentioned the ‘One District, One Factory’ policy and the restoration of nurses and teacher-trainee allowances as some of the fulfilled promises of the president.
Awuku further noted that he was amazed that Nana Addo had fulfilled his promise of free Senior High School (SHS) in order to boost education in the country.
The young politician, who is considered the overwhelming favourite of becoming the next National Organizer when the party goes to the polls this year, said the president had proved all his critics wrong.
Sounding confident, he urged Ghanaians to remain hopeful as he assured that the future of the country, especially the economy, looks very bright.
