Black Stars left-back Abdul Baba Rahman has returned to London to begin pre-season training with Champions League winners Chelsea.
The 27-year old joins Thomas Tuchel’s men as part of preparations for the upcoming season and Baba Rahman will be looking to make a lasting impression on the former PSG head coach.
Baba Rahman spent the second-half of last season on loan at PAOK Thessaloniki where he helped his team secure a 2-1 win against Olympiakos to win the Greek FA Cup.
The former Augsburg player has struggled at the West-London club since joining in 2015 and has been loaned out several times during his stay to Schalke 04, Reims, Mallorca and the latest being PAOK.
Rahman stated in an interview he wanted to leave Chelsea after a fallout with former coach Antonio Conte but says he does not regret joining the club.
The Black Stars defender alongside other loanees now have the opportunity to show new boss Thomas Tuchel what they are made of ahead of the new season. Citi Sports
