Baba Sadiq grabs MzGee from TV3

Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah popularly known as MzGee resignation from Media General days ago is as a result of some heavy and juicy deal she has received from Baba Sadiq, owner of 3 Music TV, The New Publisher can confirm.

Sources close to the paper say the beautiful and vocal presenter is set to start a new program on 3 Music TV, an on-air station which has been under transmission for some months now.

The paper understands the yet to be announced program would be more entertaining, different from the typical shows the MzGee brand has been engaged in.

This comes after her resignation from Media General was confirmed in a statement by the Group Head, Corporate Affairs at the media house, Christopher Koney.

The statement revealed that the resignation will take effect from 25th October 2021.

“Management of the Media General Group wishes to announce the resignation of Gloria Akpene Nyarko popularly known as MzGee effective 25th October 2021,” the statement said.

It also highlighted how MzGee has contributed to the growth of the media house in her short stay, “MzGee has been a valuable addition to the Group and her contribution is appreciated. Management wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavours”.
