Baby Boy Killed In Lilwin Crash Buried

THERE WERE sad scenes when the lifeless body of the three year old boy, who was killed during a gory road accident in Kumasi on Saturday morning, was lowered into the grave on Tuesday.

Little Richard AMPOMAH Oppong was buried at a cemetery at Ankaase, a farming community in the Ashanti Region, on Tuesday morning in the presence of his family members and other mourners.

Jacob Kofi Ampomah, the father of the little boy, who was hospitalized after sustaining injuries in the accident, was present at the burial ceremony as he had been treated and discharged by medical staff.

Reports reaching THE NEW PUBLISHER indicated that virtually all the attendants of the burial ceremony cried bitterly, especially when the little boy’s lifeless body was lowered into the grave.

The deceased, Richard Ampomah Oppong, was traveling with his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah in a Hyundai Santa Fe vehicle when it crashed head-on with the Mercedes Benz of actor Kwadwo Nkansah.

The impact of the clash, which occurred at Amakom in Kumasi on Saturday morning, was so heavy that it resulted in body injuries to the three year old boy, his father and the popular actor, nicknamed ‘Lilwin’.

All the injured persons were transported to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi for treatment but sadly the boy, whose injuries were life threatening, was declared dead on arrival

Lilwin, however, was treated and discharged the same day (Saturday) as he attended the premiering of his latest movie ‘A country called Ghana’ that same day at the KNUST with a bandaged head.
