Bawumia, Finance Minister prepare to address Ghanaians on economy

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta are both preparing to address the nation on measures instituted by government to resolve the current economic challenges.

The Vice President on his side is scheduled to speak in April in the Central regional capital, Cape Coast.

The Finance Minister is also scheduled to address the nation on Thursday, March 24, 2022.

Dr. Bawumia’s spokesperson, Gideon Boako speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii sen programme said, “the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will speak next month, in April 2022, also at a platform somewhere in Cape Coast, for you to see that the Government has rolled out a plan to deal with the issues”.

The Finance Minister’s address is expected to highlight the outcome of deliberations that took place during cabinet’s weekend retreat.
