Bawumia inaugurates Zongo Development Board
The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Monday inaugurated the Board of the Zongo Development Fund at the Jubilee House.
“The Zongo Development, as the New Patriotic Party envisioned, has, since its creation in 2018, been a vehicle for inclusive, sustainable development for Zongo communities, delivering projects such as renovation and construction of classroom blocks, clinics, drainage systems, water systems, security installations, bridges, roads, entrepreneurial support, educational scholarships, astro turfs, among others”, Dr. Bawumia noted on his Facebook wall after the ceremony.
He urged members of the Board to work assiduously with all stakeholders to ensure that the Zongo Development Fund continues to realise its vision, for the benefit of Zongo and other deprived communities.
