Bawumia to Arrive Today

The Presidency has announced that the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will arrive in Ghana from his medical leave in the United Kingdom today, February 1.

According to a statement signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, the President and First Lady of the country would meet him on arrival.

Mr. Arhin had revealed to journalists yesterday that the Vice President was due to return by the end of the week and any added information will be put in a statement for the public.

The Vice President took ill two weeks ago and had undergone medical tests but was later transported to the United Kingdom for further treatment.
