Beheaded Boy Lured With Ice Cream

THE FIVE-YEAR old boy, who was recently beheaded by two young men in Kumasi, was lured with Yoghurt drink by his killers, the police have said.

The deceased, who is a twin, was spotted and lured at Suame in Kumasi by his killers, who took him in a taxi cab to an uncompleted building at Sokoban and killed him.

The killers then tried selling the slashed  head of the young boy to a spiritualist, Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed, for an amount of GHC 2,500, but they were apprehended by the police.

This was disclosed by the prosecution team when suspects, Vikuriba Joe Zoot, 21 and Kozel Borama, 25, appeared at the Asokwa District Court on Tuesday.

The court remanded the two suspects, charged with conspiracy to commit murder and murder, into police custody to reappear on March 27, 2018.

The prosecution team, after reading the offences of the two suspects, told the court that the document had been sent to the Attorney General’s Department for advice.

The presiding judge, His Worship Peter Oppong-Boahen, granted the wish of the prosecution team and remanded the two suspects.

Meanwhile, the family of the slain boy, who were in court in large numbers, prayed that justice would be served in the end.
