Berndt Luther Supports Widows
THE FOUNDER of the Berndt Luther Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Ben Owusu, has called for support for widows.
He stated that the government alone cannot properly cater for the widows in the country so he is appealing for public support for widows.
Mr. Owusu aka ‘Aluta’ was speaking when the Berndt Luther Foundation presented 200 live chickens and 200 pieces of rice to widows, the aged and the sick at Ash Town in Kumasi.
The donation was geared towards helping the beneficiaries, who are less endowed, to celebrate the yuletide.
Aluta, who was born and bred at Ash Town in Kumasi, formed the Berndt Luther Foundation to support the progress of Ash Town.
Now domiciling abroad, the Berndt Luther Foundation Boss, usually solicits for support from his friends in Ghana and abroad to support the needy.
According to Aluta, he has passion for supporting the needy in society so as to improve their lives, urging others to emulate his commendable move.
Oscar Osei Acheampong, Secretary, Berndt Luther Foundation, said his NGO also has package, which supports brilliant-but-needy-students to get proper education.
