Awards winning Reggae/Dancehall musician, Stonebwoy has urged all musicians to take up the mantle to fertilise the Ghanaian youth with ethical music to curb indecencies should they derail from good manners in the country.
According to him, good music portrays some high level of positive vibes that is capable of cushioning the youth should life expose them to unwarranted difficulties.
Speaking to the world during his performance at the just ended annual musical concert dubbed “The BHiM Concert”, the CEO of the Burniton Music Group, Stonebwoy noted that , there’s a 100% assurance the youth will lead a generational thinking life should they be fed with positive tune.
The celebrated Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall icon, Stonebwoy revealed that music has some spiritual connotations attached to it, hence the need to make it a necessity to guide the teeming youth with it.
“We have to teach the youth good music, we don’t have to teach the youth with sh*t music. Beause music is spiritual.” – he said.
Stonebwoy pressed the minds of his colleague industry to make it their priority to nature the youth with good music for a better development.
Stonebwoy, who was the lead act for the night, gave spectacular performances while a good selected number of acts joined him intermittently to entertain the audience.
For hours, Stonebwoy held the crowd spell-bound with remarkable stage acts. His fans, hailing him as their “hero”, could not have enough of the music icon.
On the other hand, patrons danced and sang to hit songs from artistes like Feli Nuna, Sista Afia, KiDi, Patapizzy, Trigmatic, Tinny, Medikal, Joey B, Kwesi Arthur, as well as Sarkodie and Samini.
